Dear Club Members
I am sure most of you are aware that following the Redmon CC AGM on Monday 21st November I was nominated to be the new Club President. I hope that many of you will be able to join me on my first President's Run on Sunday 4th December. We meet at Rose Hill by the old Woolworth at 10 am and pick up stragglers at Tattenham Corner about forty minutes later. If the rain is tipping down I shall have to forget the bike and travel by car. When we arrive at the British Legion, Effingham the first drink is on me,
With best wishes
Richard Hoskin |

Hi, For the past few years the Redmon Christmas celebrations have taken place at The Blue Ball, Tadworth. This is a time for all members to get together for a meal and meet old and new members and renew old frenships. As David Boyd has decided not to continue as Social Secretary and s time is getting short, I will try and arrange the evening. The date for the meal is Tuesday 13th December, 7.00pm for 7.30pm If you would like to participate, call or e mail me ASAP I need to make a firm booking soonest. I will need a £5.00 deposit or the full amount of £19.95 for each person attending. A menu is attached and I will need your choice of menu in advance. I have spoken to Richard Hoskin, our new President and he has agreed to join the gathering. This is being sent to all on my e mail list, those who do not have e mail facilities will be notified by slow mail in the next few days. If you know someone who might like to attend and are not on e mail why not give them a call and let them know? Many Thanks
Mike Wakely. |

Hi, The Club run last Saturday was a 40 mile round trip to Wisley, with only 3 riders this was a a good start for the first run of the winter rides. many thanks to all who replied to my last e mail. This coming Saturday we will be going to Polesdon Lacey. It has been suggested we meet at Rose Hill, Sutton instead of Oaks Park. This is the traditional starting point for the club runs, so this week we will start at the old Woolworths store (now a carpet shop) at 10.00am. For those who come by car and then ride, park in the roads off Angel Hill/Rose Hill, this is the road from Rose Hill Roundabout towards Sutton Town Centre (B2230). If you cannot make the start why not neet us for coffee at Polesdon Lacey. NB the cycle park is outside the courtyard coffee shop/resturant buildings, you are advised to bring a cycle pad lock to secure your bike in the cycle park area. E mail me if you can make it by Friday pm. Don't forget Monday evening is AGM time. Hope to see you all at the meeting. Mike W. |
