Redmon Cycling Club

New Year = New Website

Happy new year to all Redmonites!  And welcome to the new look website.  Along with our new management structure, and new blood, we are re-launching the club.  The first step is a new easier to use website.  Hopefully it’s easy, but here’s a quick guide to using it..

At the top right hand side are short cuts to our social networking sites: Facebook, Twitter, Strava (not Vimeo as described!) and Flickr.  There is also a short cut to the RSS feed – this allows you subscribe to our feed which keeps you informed of new web posts.  The menu system is simpler and direct, everything covered by one click. More stuff will be added soon.  Any suggestions, ideas or articles, email the webmaster.  If you have anything to say to other members, let us know!  Since it’s more ‘graphical’ photos would be appreciated with your articles. The 12 latest posts will always be on the home page, just below this post – it’s a matrix of photos, have a look now – just click on them. If you notices any mistakes or errors in the pages let the webmaster know.

From 2015 the Redmon will be using Twitter to tell members quickly of changes to events or news – so subscribe to Twitter and follow us – the live Twitter feed is on the home page. The right hand panel includes a search engine, notifications, up coming events and short cut links  The website footer has a wealth of information – the archives (older posts by month), popular ‘Tags’.  To contact us use the contacts page – it lists the committee and all emails for whatever reason. And remember – those racers that want to compete for any of the trophies for 2015, you must send your results to the racing committee promptly to be considered (see the competition page).

Thanks, and have a great season.
