Prize present’n update

I wrote to members before Christmas stating that I would be giving you an update on the catering arrangements for the Prize Presentation. It will be at the Parrot Inn, Forest Green on Sunday 22 February 2015, 12 noon, sit down for food 1pm.

Given that the food provided by The Parrot last year was not to everyone’s taste we have decided to offer a more formal main course meal. This year The Parrot will be offering a choice of the following, with tea or coffee:

  • ROAST LEG OF HOME FARM LAMB WITH YORKSHIRE PUDDING AND ROAST POTATOES;
  • ETHERLEY FARM COQ AU VIN;
  • GLAMORGAN SAUSAGE (VEGETARIAN) STEW;

It will cost £13.50 per head. If members would like the addition of a pudding/dessert, these items can be purchased and paid for separately on the day.

I hope that many members and friends will be able to attend this important event in the Club’s calendar. If you would like to attend please dispatch a cheque to our club Treasurer John Allen (address – 15 Ellis Avenue, Onslow Village, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 7SR) indicating the number meals required and your main course option. Only cheques are acceptable (not paypal etc) and should be made payable to the Redmon Cycling Club. Cheques should reach John no later than Saturday 7th February 2015.
